Simple Tea To Boost Circulation And Immunity

Here is a simple and refreshing drink to make that will instantly give you a natural boost of energy. No caffeine, completely fresh ingredients.

Ingredients

  1. 500 ml water

  2. 2 tbsp fresh ginger, grated (or 2 tsp of dried, ground ginger)

  3. 1/4 cup raw honey

  4. Juice from 1 large / 2 small limes

How To Make

  1. Bring the water to a boil, add ginger, and simmer (covered) for 10 minutes.

  2. Pour through strainer into a mug(s) and either:

    • let sit until it comes to almost room temperature; or

    • add in equal parts cold water to bring the overall temperature down to just about room temperature.

  3. Add in honey and lime/lemon juice.

  4. Enjoy!

Notes

  • It is definitely better and more potent to use fresh ginger. That said, if unavailable, dried ground ginger will work fine.

  • Only use honey that is raw/unpasteurized, and preferably local (support your local businesses who are doing good things!).

  • Do not add honey to boiling water. The water should be very close to room temperature. You should never heat honey.

  • Do not add lime or lemon juice until the water cools. The juice will retain more beneficial properties if it is not boiled.
