Any tennis balls you use, they should be relatively new and have equal bounce to theme. Especially when working on hand eye coordination, ideally, the tennis balls you use should bounce easily. For the more advanced drills, you’ll need 3 tennis balls. These drills can also be used as games for hand eye coordination, especially with teams!

For the warm-up, follow along with the video. As with any hand eye coordination dill, you want to focus on being rhythmic, and making sure that you catch and release the balls with little difference between the right and left hands.

Here are the drills in order in the video:

  1. Pyramid Bounce

  2. Double Ball Wall Bounce

  3. Revolving Door with Bounce

  4. Revolving Door Behind the Back

  5. Revolving Door No Bounce

  6. Seated Dribbling

These hand eye coordination drills may require a finer touch than you are used to. This is something you can work on that will make you a better athlete, as well as contribute to your perception and well-roundedness overall.

Improving hand eye coordination will naturally improve sense of distances, rhythm, timing, peripheral vision, reaction time, and coordination. Give these a try. Comment below if you have any questions!
